Retired members Posted by Lock Jaw++ on Thursday, April 2nd, 2009, 6:40 EDT | More... |
Spring cleaning is almost done. If you are a member if the (MA) and find yourself retired, please contack Lock Jaw++ to have it changed back to active. Remember, if you don't log on to matureasskickers.net at least once a month you will become inactive again. ">

Spring-cleaning time Posted by Lock Jaw++ on Tuesday, March 24th, 2009, 7:03 EDT | More... |
Ah yes, spring is in the air and the urge to clean is strong. So what the heck, I have started cleaning up the website.
The website is used to decide who is active and who is not. If a member does not log into the website for 30 days they are placed on the inactive roster automatically. After years of this we had over 100 names on the inactive list. Time for a bit of spring-cleaning. EVERY name on the inactive roster was retired.
If you are a member of the (MA), please log in and send an email to Lock Jaw++ to have your membership manually changed from retired back to active. Each member being moved from retired to active will have to review their profile on the website and make any changes or updates needed.
I have also removed some Divisions that are no longer used. Lots more to do here.
(So how do I look in an apron?)

General news Posted by Lock Jaw++ on Sunday, March 22nd, 2009, 9:57 EDT | More... | Comments |
I am not sure if anyone still reads this but it is time for some fresh news anyway.
When we shifted over to Eldergaming.org it was with the intention of using that site temporally to clean up this site and the roster, them shift back to this site for every day use. We are still going to try and work toward that end.
The (MA) was started with the Tribes games, and strangely enough there may be some life in that old dog yet. It looks like GG has gotten the full Tribes franchise back and will be returning the game to its roots of great game play.
See this forum for details.

On a related note, the new GG games are what are being called browser games. This makes it sound like the game is played in a browser, it is not. The browser games are a portal to the game and the game is downloaded onto your computer. Full screen, fast connections and the ability to modify the game are all still there. You just need to read the directions and enable the full screen mode.
